Embrace Green Initiatives Within Your Environment, Make A Transition And Start Using LED Lighting In The Home, Office, Shop, Warehouse And Factory.

      Its time for change…

The Light Emitting Diode (LED) is said to be one of the most popular and efficient light sources available today. Because of the benefits associated with them, LED lights have become the best option to replace conventional lights. In the UK, there is a lot of emphasis for both domestic and commercial enterprises to use LED lights instead of other conventional lights. In compliance with the EU directive to reduce the amount of energy associated with lighting, many suppliers have been restricted from the sale of incandescent light bulbs.

Thanks to Green Initiatives campaigns in the UK, Light emitting diodes (LEDs) have in the recent times become very popular with their use expanding from domestic LED lighting to commercial and Industrial LED lighting. As a result, this move has seen LED lighting technology popping up not only in homes and offices, buses, traffic lights but also in solar powered street lighting which is proving to save the UK cofers a fair few quid… However In the recent times, the use of incandescent lights in the UK has reduced which now paves the way for new and advanced LED lighting solutions which can seriously reduce your monthly bills, help the enviroment. The best thing is that prices are falling by the day due to the heavy investments being made by all the major players in China into the research & development of these wonderfully magic LED chips.

Five Reasons to Switch to LED Lights

      1. Durability

LED light bulbs are more durable since they can comfortably be used for over 100,000 hours without showing any signs of old age or diminishing service. Actually, the lifespan of LED lights is twice when compared to the common fluorescent bulbs. Compared to incandescent lights, their lifespan is twenty times longer.

      1. Energy Efficient

Shockingly, an incandescent light bulb spends 80% of its energy on heat, and only 20% is utilised for light. This is a huge disadvantage because you end up paying more for high-energy bills and low quality lighting. LED lights, on the other hand, only lose a mere 20% to heat, and the rest is of the energy is channelled for lighting purposes. In addition, a LED light only requires 10 to 20% of power consumed by an incandescent light to achieve the same amount of brightness. Green initiatives advocate their use because they preserve a lot of energy.

      1. Colourful with a soft warm glow

Many people using domestic LED lighting prefer to use bulbs that can produce a wide array of colours. LED lights emit a soft glow of light giving a clearer and better quality colour compared to filtered bulbs.

      1. LED light bulbs are Silent

These days, people are fed up of using bulbs that produce a lot of noises loud enough to interrupt the concentration and other activities. Using LED lights eliminates the thrum and ping associated with other light bulbs.

      1. Safe to Use

Safety is an important feature associated with LED lights. Since they consume very little energy, the cases of accidents such as fires are completely eliminated. Thanks to their solid-state construction, they do not shatter and, therefore, they are a favourite for domestic, commercial and industrial LED lighting.
